Eating and drinking may well be a
pleasurable part of your stay with us. A
welcoming tea with irresistible home made cake is served on
arrival, by the fire in Winter, or on the terrace in Summer.
A really delicious candlelit dinner is available most nights.
We also have a superb wine list and those who enjoy a good bottle
will be spoilt for choice. The list can be emailed to you on
request. A selection of reasonably priced
house wines are offered in addition.

Dinner (optional): Dinner can be whatever you want it to
be - just tell us what you would like to eat. A two course supper
is also available. The rich soil in our organic kitchen garden
produces crop after crop of vegetables and fruit all the year
round. Nearby are several wonderful farm shops which supplement
what can't be grown, and where possible local organic produce
is sourced. Asparagus and all manner of soft fruit is plentiful
round here, nestling as we do in the bountiful Vale of Evesham.
Within three miles there are two superb butchers, who provide
us with a wide variety of local beef, lamb (Prime Lighthorne),
pork (Gloucestershire Old Spot) and game. Limousin cattle and
sheep graze here on the farm. At nearby Donnington is our local
trout farm with its smokery, and the renowned Dalesford Organics
is is a local treasure trove.
Dinner is generally
eaten en famille by candlelight, or in the warm weather on the
terrace. But if you prefer to eat alone or in your group, that's
fine too. After dinner, guests can sit and chat over a glass
of wine, or relax in their own drawing room and enjoy their
coffee with TV, music, conversation or a good book.
