The Garden: The house
stands in its own lovely tranquil garden, facing south
over a ha-ha, and across the grassy pastures planted
with mature trees. The sheep graze peacefully. There is
a large lawn, suitable for croquet and badminton, a very
pretty rose garden with a waterfall and a fishpond.
Elsewhere scented roses, hedges of lavender and tangles
of clematis, wisteria and honeysuckle provide a haven
for wild birds. There are secluded places to sit and
ponder.
Come up the drive
First glimpse of the view

Come and have tea
Feed the fish

Sit
here and read a book
Or have an evening drink bedside the waterfall

and
take time to smell our wonderful roses!
